If there is no specific medical prescription, take Electrolit Oral Solution as follows:
If weight loss is less than 5%: 50 ml per kg of weight in the first 6 hours. If weight loss is 5% to 10%: 100 ml per kg of weight, in the first 6 hours.
When vomiting associated with diarrhea occurs, the prescribed dose of Electrolit should be administered in small amounts, avoiding the ingestion of other fluids that contain carbohydrates.
During the first day of treatment, younger children or school-age children should take 4 bottles or 250 ml cups of Electrolit.
Adults should take Electrolit in the required amount during the first day of treatment (14% solution).
